The capacity to print unlimited federal currency is a formula for the destruction of our country

Robert F Kennedy directly targeted the Fed in an interview at the Bitcoin Conference held in Nashville today.

“The relationship between Congress and the Fed is both parasitic and symbiotic for our country. The Fed is not a government agency… Its decision-makers are appointed by the banking industry. Its function, through these cycles of quantitative easing and subsequent high interest rates… is to extract cash and capital from the American middle class and pump it into this new oligarchy of billionaires.

“The final blow was the quarantines during Covid, which closed down all the small businesses in this country that we were supposed to feed, and they kept open the Walmarts, the Amazons, the Facebooks, the oil industry, the processed food industries, and Big Agriculture, all of which thrived during that time. And in the meantime, Main Street was dismantled.”

“The Fed is not a public institution… Decision makers are appointed by the banking sector”

A year ago at the Bitcoin Conference, Robert F. Kennedy became the first presidential candidate in history to embrace bitcoin, spoke of the dangers of printing unlimited money, and pledged his support for the bitcoin industry. He promised to bring tech innovators home, lure investors with tax incentives, and end the SEC’s sabotage of crypto momentum.

Now a year later, as bitcoin explodes and 50 million voters claim to hold crypto, Donald Trump is suddenly echoing Kennedy’s policy initiatives, promising to outline his support in his closing remarks at the 2024 Bitcoin Conference in Nashville. Trump’s Treasury Department is rumored to begin investing billions to support the bitcoin ecosystem. His campaign has raised millions of dollars through digital assets since it began accepting them in May of this year.

Both Kennedy and former President Trump are set to speak at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville this weekend, where tens of thousands of industry professionals and enthusiasts have gathered. Even two years ago, you wouldn’t have imagined that two presidential candidates would be competing over who could do more for bitcoin.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been a staunch supporter of cryptocurrencies for years and was the keynote speaker at the 2023 Bitcoin Conference in Miami, describing Bitcoin as a “great innovation machine.” Kennedy has also defended the industry against accusations of environmental damage from mining operations.
