On-chain sleuth ZachXBT has revealed that Martin Shkreli, commonly known as “Pharma Bro,” is the creator of the new Solana-based meme token called TrumpCoin (DJT).
On June 19, Arkham Intelligence announced a $150,000 reward for revealing the person who distributed DJT. A few hours later, ZachXBT claimed Shkreli was the creator of the meme coin after sending a “panic” message to the chain researcher.

However, Shkreli, who spent nearly seven years in prison with a $70 million fine for securities fraud, claims that former US President Donald Trump’s 18-year-old son, Barron Trump, was also involved in the meme coin. Added:
“I did not act alone”
Moreover, Shkreli said in an X post that “Trump” holds the keys to the token contract, referring to Barron Trump. Screenshots shared by ZachXBT show Shkreli claiming to have “over 1,000 pieces of evidence” proving the 18-year-old Trump’s involvement in the distribution of meme money.
Additionally, at X Spaces on June 18, Shkreli claimed that the former US President also approved the project and that a total of 10 people were involved in its launch. He even claimed that Trump discussed the potential listing of TrumpCoin with crypto exchange Kraken.
Despite the drama surrounding the meme coin, DJT is up 29% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.015 at the time of writing. The asset’s market value currently stands at $165 million and daily trading volume stands at $9 million.

However, the meme coin’s price action has some investors worried, as TrumpCoin has fallen sharply from its all-time low of $0.038 on June 18.
There has been no update yet on the release of an official meme coin from the former US President.
