Ahead of the HBO documentary’s reveal of the Bitcoin founder, memcoins inspired by Len Sassaman and his cats Sasha and Odin began appearing on the Solana, Ethereum and Bitcoin networks.
After dominating the Polymarket betting pool on the identity of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, Len Sassaman gained popularity in crypto circles, with many hailing the late cryptographer as the most likely candidate to be revealed in the HBO Documentary titled “Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery.” ”.
The documentary, which will be released on October 8, promises to reveal the real identity behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, who introduced Bitcoin.
In the days leading up to the announcement, several memecoins were created in honor of Len Sassaman and his cats. LEN, SASHA and Odin are just some of the memecoins that have sprouted up in the past week thanks to Sassaman’s popularity among Polymarket punters.
SASHA, the token of Sasha Cat, a Solana memecoin modeled after Sassaman’s orange cat Sasha, rose over 70% in the past day, according to CoinMarketCap data. SASHA has achieved a market cap of $1.2 million since its launch.
Meanwhile, memecoin, named after Sassaman’s other cat, Odin, increased by over 15% on GeckoTerminal in the past day. Although Odin is not as popular as SASHA, it achieved a market value of $236,000 in its two days of release. Odin memecoin is also backed by Solana.
Besides the cryptographer’s cats, several memecoins marked LEN were also created for Len Sassaman. LEN tokens on Solana and Ethereum were created by investors last week and reached a market cap of several million before the gains faded.
Another LEN token, which was mined four months ago and claimed to be the first token issued on Solana, saw a price increase last week and has a market cap of over $1.6 million as of Monday.

The day before the HBO Documentary premiered, Polymarket asked “Who will the HBO documentary identify as Satoshi?” According to the poll, Sassaman’s chances were almost 40%. Sunday. His ranking is closely followed by 38% of bettors who believe Satoshi is a group of people or someone completely outside of it.
The person with the second largest rate is Blockshare CEO Adam Back, with more than 7%. He will also appear in HBO’s documentary based on the trailer.
