4,502.9 BTC ($305 million) was stolen from the exchange.

Japanese cryptocurrency exchange DMM Bitcoin said it lost 48 billion yen ($305 million) in bitcoin {{BTC}} following an attack.
DMM Bitcoin said in a blog post on its website that 4,502.9 BTC had “leaked” from the exchange. Measures have been taken to further prevent unauthorized exits.
DMM Bitcoin said, “You can be sure that, with the support of group companies, we will provide an amount of BTC equivalent to the exit and guarantee the full amount.” said.
The exchange restricted all spot buying on the platform, adding that withdrawing the Japanese yen “may take more time than usual.”
The loss was the second largest in the region. Coincheck was hacked for 58 billion yen in 2018.
