Hex Trust launches HT Markets MENA to facilitate crypto-fiat conversions

Crypto custody company Hex Trust has officially launched HT Market MENA, which allows institutional investors to make crypto-to-fiat conversions through the firm’s licensed custody platform.

In a press release obtained by Crypto.news, the crypto custodian stated that the services provided by the firm on HT Market MENA are available to institutional clients and investors who have accumulated a ramp fund threshold equal to AED 368,000 or $100,000.

Hex Trust Markets offers customers fully licensed access to their ecosystem where they can earn returns through on-chain staking solutions and execute transactions with the support of a global trading team.

The launch of HT Markets MENA gives investors in Dubai the chance to convert their crypto assets into fiat currencies, while ensuring that the ecosystem remains a safe and secure environment for crypto trading.

Hex Trust is one of the first virtual asset broker-dealers in the region to offer clients a secure bridge between fiat and crypto assets, said Filippo Buzzi, Hex Trust’s MENA Regional Director. He notes that HT Markets MENA is meeting the high demand for its on-ramp and off-ramp services in Dubai.

“We see tremendous potential for virtual asset growth in Dubai, given progressive regulations, welcoming governments and a thriving crypto ecosystem,” Buzzi said in a statement.

At the time of writing, Hex Trust held three Virtual Asset Service Provider licenses issued by the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority, Dubai’s crypto-focused regulator. The first license is for providing virtual asset custody services; The second license allows Hex Trust to act as a virtual asset broker and dealer, while the third license is for its virtual asset management and investment arm. HT Markets MENA FZE falls into the third category.

In addition, Hex Trust offers OTC trading solutions in a variety of virtual assets, including custom sell/buy programs to optimize Price, Time Horizon and Market Impact. The firm also offers risk management solutions for corporate treasury management, deep liquidity and broad access to virtual asset markets.

Hex Trust opened its Dubai office in June 2022 and is committed to expanding its operational reach to the MENA region while working with VARA to provide a secure crypto trading environment.
