GameStop Should Buy Bitcoin, Scaramucci Says RoaringKitty Streams For First Time In Years

GameStop and its stock price have been the talk of many cryptocurrency-focused and traditional financial communities over the past few days, and not without reason.

GME’s price went on a massive rollercoaster ride this week, rising 130% and plummeting 55% shortly after.

Many financial experts have contributed opinions, one of which is prominent BTC permabull Anthony Scaramucci.

GameStop was all the rage this week as pretty much everyone even remotely interested in the so-called meme trade was anticipating Keith Gill’s stream today.

Gill, who is perhaps best known by his moniker Roaring Kitty, went live on YouTube hours ago for the first time in nearly four years, but we’ll get to that in a second.

Today, GameStop unveiled the sale of up to 75 million more shares as the price soared above $60. The market didn’t take it well, and GME is down more than 50% today, currently trading below $30.

Anthony Scaramucci of SkyBridge Capital made an interesting suggestion.

One of today’s most anticipated events was Keith Gill’s live stream on YouTube.

Gill, who rose to fame building a massive GME position and then being a leading figure behind the stock’s huge rally in 2020, was speaking live in a broadcast that received more than half a million views in a matter of hours .

It’s worth noting that several GME-inspired meme coins were trending higher before the stream. However, as the stock price fell today, so did these meme coins.

For example, GME and ROAR decreased by 25% and 35%, respectively, over the course of the stream itself. None of them are affiliated with Gill, at least not officially.

During the broadcast, Roaring Kitty confirmed that she still holds her positions and has not opened any new ones.
