Coinbase adds GIGA and TURBO to its asset roadmap

Coinbase announced the addition of Gigachad and Turbo to its asset roadmap, signaling potential future listings on the exchange.

This move reflects Coinbase’s ongoing strategy to embrace a variety of cryptocurrencies, including niche and meme-based tokens.

Gigachad and Turbo (TURBO) are considered part of the meme coin category, a subset of cryptocurrencies that are often driven by internet culture and community enthusiasm rather than technical utility.

Coinbase’s asset roadmap shows which cryptocurrencies the platform is considering for inclusion. Although appearing on the roadmap does not guarantee immediate listing, it is an important step towards wider accessibility.

Latest Coinbase listings

If GIGA and TURBO are fully listed, they would join other meme coins that have already found a home on Coinbase, such as Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Last month, Coinbase introduced Pepe (PEPE) and Floki (FLOKI) to its trading platform. Earlier this week, Coinbase added TikTok-inspired memecoin Moo Deng (MOODENG) to its listing roadmap, expanding its cryptocurrency offerings in Q4 2024.
