Multi-chain-focused protocol dWallet announced its arrival on layer 1 blockchain to improve user experience in DeFi and web3 gaming.
Extending dWallet’s technological stack to Aptos is primarily aimed at introducing Zero Trust Protocols (ZTPs) to the decentralized L1 network and improving native multi-chain interoperability within the Aptos ecosystem.
dWallet Network co-founder Ömer Sadıka emphasized that the partnership with Aptos allows users to execute on-chain native Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) transactions without the need for bridging or token wrapping requirements.
“Doing this expands the horizons for definition and play,” Sadika wrote, taking a giant step toward realizing a multi-chain future.
dWallet Network’s cryptographic 2PC-MPC model encourages on-chain participation of both end users and various validators, bringing more individuals and customers into the identification scene.
“I’m excited that developers in the Aptos ecosystem can develop ZTPs that work seamlessly across Web3 in a cryptographically secure manner,” said Aptos researcher Professor Benny Pinkas, citing the collaboration as a progressive move by the L1 network.
Released in October 2022, Aptos is a non-Ethereum, monolithic Virtual Machine compatible L1. The platform offers fast, low-cost transactions and reduced energy requirements thanks to its proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
