Binance Alpha adds LUCE, BANANA and others to fourth batch of selected tokens

Binance Alpha, Binance’s new platform for pre-list tokens, recently announced the fourth batch of tokens added to its selection pool. The new batch includes tokens such as KOGE, BANANA, GNON, LUCE and others.

In Binance Alpha’s fourth previously listed token batch, the platform has opted for a mix of Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), and BNB (BNB)-based tokens. The batch includes nine tokens selected based on factors such as strong community interest, interest, and hot trends.

On December 20, Binance Alpha released a notification explaining that the tokens included in the fourth batch are Banana, Koge, Bob, Magic Power, pStake, Numogram, Shoggoth, Luce, and Odos.

While the crypto exchange has made it clear that it does not guarantee that all of the tokens included in Alpha’s selection pool will be officially listed on the exchange, Binance has stated that these tokens “may even be considered for listing on Binance Exchange in the future.”

Unlike official Binance listings, which are known to increase the value of a token shortly after announcements, Binance Alpha selection pool announcements appear to have little to no impact on the selected tokens.

According to data from CoinGecko, the BOB token dropped by 23.2% in the last 24 hours of trading, while BANANA and PSTAKE also dropped by 14.4% and 7%, respectively. LUCE, MGP, and KOGE all declined by about 0 to 1% over the same period.

The only token that performed well was ODOS, whose price increased by 18.7% in the past day. Another is GNON, up 10.8%. SHOGGOTH also saw a slight increase of 3%.

Previously, Binance Alpha announced the third batch of tokens, including FROG, MONKY, TERMINUS, CLANKER, GRIFFAIN, and CGPT, on December 19.

As previously reported by crypto.news, Binance Alpha is a platform that is part of the broader Binance Wallet and acts as a selection pool for early-stage crypto projects within the ecosystem. The new platform offers users the chance to discover selected projects that have the potential to be listed on the Binance exchange.
