The Inco project will allow developers to securely create intranet products within Telegram mini-applications.
According to the team at Inco, a developer of a universal privacy layer for Ethereum and other networks, the project has partnered with Privy for these purposes.
A few weeks ago, Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced major plans to tokenize functions, distribute advertising revenues with users, and incorporate the Tether stablecoin into the Open Network (TON) blockchain.
Inco’s universal privacy will allow developers to create quarantine-free apps and mini-games that still have fully verifiable secret information, including prediction markets, card games, and guessing games that will work with crypto wallets. Before this, Telegram mini apps ran centrally, making them vulnerable to hacking and fraud.
“While Telegram reached 900 million users, Base shut down only 2 million users in 2023; By enabling the creation of decentralized applications with on-chain privacy directly within Telegram, we empower developers to reach millions of new users and support the growth of Web3. industry.”
Remi Gai, CEO of Inco
Additionally, creating decentralized applications in the form of Telegram mini-apps allows developers to create a consumer-friendly experience and tap into the largest pool of retail users.
By the end of 2022, Durov reported that Telegram may have several decentralized tools for trading and storing cryptocurrencies. Since then, messenger has added many options for cryptocurrency, including a native messenger wallet.
One of the project’s latest initiatives was the Wallet and TON Foundation’s campaign on Telegram. TON Foundation plans to distribute $30 million with 50% interest as part of its USDT staking promotion.
